About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Network Change Manager for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week required) with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. In this role, you will be at the center of a rapidly expanding change landscape, ensuring that network changes are delivered safely, efficiently, and with minimal impact to production services. You will work across engineering, operations, and application teams to enable continuous delivery while maintaining strong control and stability. This is a high visibility role with a direct impact on service reliability, client experience, and enterprise risk posture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network operations, infrastructure, or change management
• Strong understanding of change management principles (ITIL preferred)
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume, global environments
• Ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate across multiple teams
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Remedy or similar ITSM platforms
• Strong critical thinking and risk assessment skills
• Experience with Agile tools (Jira)

Responsibilities

• Lead change governance and oversight, ensuring network changes are executed in line with standards and risk controls
• Review and challenge high risk changes to confirm readiness and mitigation planning
• Support go/no go decisions to protect production environments
• Oversee global change activity across multiple regions and teams
• Validate readiness of changes, including implementation plans, rollback strategies, and stakeholder alignment
• Provide real-time oversight during key change windows
• Analyze change-related incidents and identify improvement opportunities
• Partner with engineering and operations to reduce failures and improve change quality
• Help drive initiatives to minimize production risk and service disruption
• Act as a central point of coordination between infrastructure, application, and service teams
• Facilitate change governance forums (e.g., CAB/CAC)
• Ensure all impacted stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout the change lifecycle
• Help evolve change management processes to support high-volume, global delivery
• Drive adoption of standardized templates, runbooks, and best practices
• Support the use of tools (e.g., ServiceNow) to improve visibility, automation, and reporting
