About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Business Analyst for an onsite contract opportunity with a Global Financial Institution. The role involves acting as the primary interface between business partners and technology teams, analyzing current processes and systems, and capturing requirements for an Agile Scrum team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding stakeholder needs, analyzing problems, and refining requirements into executable specifications for the development team. This position requires analyzing the business model and its integration with technology.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Experience documenting detailed functional and technical requirements
Proven ability to work closely with business partners to elicit requirements and document process flows
Working knowledge of Agile tools such as JIRA
Experience with Agile methodologies, including feature writing, story grooming, and sprint planning
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate discussions
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Act as the primary interface between business partners and technology teams to elicit requirements and define strategies for technical solutions
Analyze current processes and systems, document process flows, and identify risks and opportunities for mitigation
Collaborate with the Product Owner to evaluate features, write effective user stories, and document business rules
Work closely with the Development Team to refine requirements into technical specifications and review designs
Provide support to UAT and SIT testers to clarify requirements and validate test plans
Facilitate discussions and ensure acceptance criteria for user stories are understood and applied
