This role serves as a liaison between PLM/Corporate Real Estate users and Investments IT teams to analyze business and functional requirements, and establish data requirements and processes related to severity scores and underwriting rules. The position assists in evaluating business requests to determine requirements, feasibility, and recommend business solutions. It also involves training users on system functionality and supporting them through all phases of implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent related experience - Required
  • 5+ years IT-related experience, such as Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, etc.
  • General knowledge of broad business practices
  • Basic Word
  • Intermediate SQL/Query and Excel skills - Required
  • Intermediate oral and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional and technical disciplines - Required
  • Basic persuasion and negotiating skills - Required
  • Intermediate investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate data analysis skills - Required
  • Intermediate ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously, including the ability to handle changing priorities and deliverables - Required
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful situations - Required
  • Knowledge of industry practices, trends and applications and the ability to communicate this knowledge to clients and apply it to meeting clients’ needs - Required

Responsibilities

  • Researches, reviews and documents existing PLM/CML processes, procedures and functions for enhancement, accuracy, and redevelopment.
  • Assists in evaluation of business requests to determine feasibility; researches and identifies options.
  • Prepares documentation for project-related business requirements that are accurate and well-structured to be utilized by technical and business audience.
  • Participates in multiple project tasks and client relationships simultaneously, appropriately balancing priorities and deliverables.
  • Participates in the training of all levels of resources.
  • Facilitates communication between members of the project team on project issues and expectations.
  • Provides user manual documentation.
  • Coordinates user testing activities.
  • Reviews project designs and test results.
  • Responds to questions from business and IT teams.
  • Assists in performing task automation and implements process improvements; recommends enhancements that result in increased quality and service.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and verifies production problems working with the business users to understand priorities and scheduling.
