About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Data Analyst for an onsite, 12+ month contract opportunity in Charlotte, NC. This role is crucial for reducing cybersecurity risk by accelerating vulnerability analysis, prioritization, and remediation across software and infrastructure portfolios. The analyst will transform vulnerability and risk data into actionable insights to drive remediation planning and execution, collaborating with technology, engineering, and risk teams.

Requirements

Ability to analyze and interpret data to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, pivot tables, and data visualization.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Word.
Basic understanding of information technology infrastructure, including operating systems, servers, applications, and networking concepts.
Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), programming concepts, and software testing practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Experience working with data from multiple sources and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or technology risk concepts.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across matrixed teams.

Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret vulnerability data to uncover systemic issues and communicate insights to stakeholders.
Translate data analysis into actionable recommendations and remediation plans.
Identify trends, prioritize risk exposure, and ensure teams have the information needed to make informed decisions.
Partner with engineering, enterprise security, and infrastructure teams to drive consistent remediation strategies.
Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to support decision-making.
