About The Position

The IT Business Analyst - Demand & Communications serves as the key bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, and development teams. This role focuses on translating business needs into IT priorities, improving how IT communicates updates to the organization, and ensuring alignment across multiple IT functions including applications, data, and infrastructure. You will play a critical role in helping the business understand what IT is working on, why it matters, and how priorities are set, while ensuring requests are well-defined, coordinated, and actionable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or IT-facing role
  • Experience acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT or development teams
  • Proven ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly communication
  • Experience gathering requirements and supporting cross-functional delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across both business and technical teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP, supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing systems
  • Exposure to multiple IT domains (applications, data, infrastructure, integrations)
  • Familiarity with Agile or traditional delivery environments
  • Understanding of ITIL or IT governance concepts

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and development teams
  • Build strong relationships across business units to understand needs and align them with IT priorities
  • Facilitate conversations to ensure stakeholders understand timelines, trade-offs, and resource constraints
  • Act as a connector across teams, ensuring priorities, updates, and expectations are clearly understood
  • Support and coordinate IT demand intake across projects, enhancements, and operational requests
  • Partner with stakeholders to shape requests into clear requirements and actionable work
  • Maintain visibility into IT work across multiple teams (applications, data, infrastructure, interfaces)
  • Help prioritize work by balancing business value, urgency, and available resources
  • Track demand pipeline, dependencies, and progress across initiatives
  • Identify risks, conflicts, and capacity gaps and escalate as needed
  • Translate technical updates from IT and development teams into clear, business-friendly communication
  • Improve the speed, clarity, and effectiveness of IT updates to stakeholders
  • Communicate system changes, releases, and incidents in a concise and actionable way
  • Ensure business stakeholders understand priorities, timelines, and impacts of IT work
  • Support executive-facing updates, summaries, and presentations
  • Help modernize how IT communicates across the organization (clear, practical, and timely messaging)
