Perform all duties related to the tracking and management of IT equipment, assets, and software for a US Air Force Technical Directorate. This includes, but not limited to, preparing order requests, handling, storage, inventory, tagging/identifying, assigning, relocating, reutilizing, and dispositioning assets. Assigned as the Primary Equipment Control Officer (ECO) responsible for managing IT inventory in the official Air Force Inventory System of Record and related duties in accordance with AFMAN 17-1203 Information Technology Hardware Asset Management. Manage, generate, and distribute hand receipts for all assigned assets at the time of asset assignment, file and manage their accuracy in a central location (or database), and retain records for 360 days after they are returned. Track software licenses, manage renewals, and installation records. Receive, disassemble, pack, crate, document, ship, and transport equipment to appropriate DoW locations. Prepare annual inventory of hardware and software reports. Provide monthly summary of software licenses procured, utilized, and available for use, and end of life status.
