About The Position

This role supports the complete life cycle of software and hardware assets within RCB Bank. The IT Asset Management Specialist will track, deploy, maintain, upgrade, and dispose of assets to maximize value and minimize costs while adhering to compliance regulations. This position handles inventory management, software license compliance, cost optimization, and life cycle tracking.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in asset management, inventory, or related roles
  • Proficiency in software licensing, asset management tools, and an understanding of hardware technologies
  • Knowledge includes, but is not limited to networks, servers, PCs, printers, Windows operating system, Microsoft Office Suite, and voice systems.
  • General understanding of gateways, routers, switches, and AS400 operations and thorough knowledge of the general hardware and software utilized within a business environment.
  • Ability to isolate problem sources and work with internal system operations, application development, and vendors to resolve problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical users.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or other related field
  • Previous IT experience in a banking environment
  • ITIL certification

Responsibilities

  • Manage RCB Bank’s IT software and hardware asset portfolio with respect to inventory control, risks, compliance, and performance objectives.
  • Respond to requests from end users, department heads, and management for specific software licensing and/or hardware information, following the workflow for approval.
  • Initiate equipment repair orders and propose replacement options for IT equipment; procure all IT assets and properly track inventory.
  • Manage and track the movement of all IT assets to and from inventory between locations.
  • Maintain and manage inventory levels and prepare/present IT health and asset reports to management, providing insight into trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage the removal and destruction of obsolete IT equipment, including destruction recordkeeping.
