About The Position

The IT Application Specialist - at Anchor Bay Packaging Corporation is responsible for managing and supporting ERP software systems, particularly Epicor, to enhance operational efficiency within the manufacturing industry. This role involves collaborating with teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions, as well as providing technical support and database administration.

  • Ability to work with end users for Help Desk support at levels 1 and 2.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with Epicor support.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative work environment to meet the needs of Anchor Bay Packaging Corporation.
  • Proficiency in MS, SQL, SSRS, and MS Studio.
  • Experience with SQL Query, HTML, and basic knowledge of C#, Java, or similar programming languages.
  • Basic knowledge of REST services.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Proven experience in IT support or a related role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • 0-2 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Epicor experience being a plus.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Epicor Core Team to design, write, and implement software solutions tailored to business needs.
  • Manage and resolve support tickets with Epicor, ensuring timely tracking and status updates.
  • Support database administration routines on the Cloud administrative console to maintain system integrity and performance.
  • Work closely with end users to provide Help Desk support at levels 1 and 2, addressing technical issues and inquiries.
  • Communicate effectively with Epicor support to resolve technical challenges and enhance system functionality.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that aligns with the strategic goals of Anchor Bay Packaging Corporation.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications to ensure alignment between business objectives and IT solutions.
