We are one of the most public facing state agencies and the second largest revenue generating agency in Washington State. Requirements

Eight (8) years of combined education and experience analyzing, designing, or developing computer systems applications or databases.
The ability to understand and follow agency values of respect, trust, diversity, equity, and inclusion through behaviors, and decisions.

Up to 5 years of relevant education may substitute year for year for experience.
Must include 9 semester or 15 quarter hours of computer science courses.
Associate's degree = 2 years | Bachelor’s degree = 4 years | Master's degree = 5 years

Nice To Haves

Eight (8) years of experience as a Software Developer.
Development experience with the following tools and/or technologies: SQL Reporting Services, Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Web Services, SQL, Visual Studio (VS) XML JavaScript VB.NET C#

Responsibilities

Perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and support activities using appropriate tools and technologies.
Design, develop, maintain, and support application interfaces and data exchange solutions with internal and external partners.
Research, evaluate, and recommend technologies, tools, and approaches to improve system functionality, efficiency, and maintainability.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver application enhancements.
Ensure development, architecture, security, and quality standards are consistently followed throughout the software development lifecycle.
Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and support of development team initiatives.
