About The Position

The IT Analyst & Software Developer works in a unique environment supporting two customers: providing IT support for one and web server development for the other. The role provides opportunities to develop IT skills through Tier 1–3 support for more than 1,200 civilian and contractor users, while also building PHP and Python development skills in response to customer requirements. The position offers exposure to Navy operations and CACI’s support for the Navy, along with opportunities to strengthen communication and written skills. The role includes troubleshooting software and hardware issues, creating user guides and standard operating procedures, maintaining and enhancing a PHP web server, and converting the current PHP solution to Python. The position is full-time and requires a Secret or interim Secret clearance, as well as a CompTIA Security+ certification before the start date.

Requirements

Must have or be able to obtain a Secret or interim Secret clearance.
Must have or be able to achieve CompTIA Security+ certification before the start date.
Ability to balance multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
Excellent communication and written skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous professional experience in a Navy environment.
Advanced PHP and Python development skills.
Previous professional IT expertise.

Responsibilities

Work with the IT group to resolve Tier 1–3 issues submitted by phone, functional mailbox, leadership, or in person.
Troubleshoot issues involving both software and hardware.
Create standard operating procedures and user guides for Navy IT processes, and maintain professional documentation for development work.
Maintain a web server currently coded in PHP and implement minor features.
Convert the current PHP web server solution to Python.
