About The Position

Provides comprehensive IT support for shop floor production systems, including incident management, system monitoring, technical troubleshooting, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted operations. Supports continuous improvement, compliance, and system reliability through documentation, maintenance activities, and active participation in projects and on-call support. This is a second shift position.

Requirements

Associates Degree’s in a technical field
2+ years of directly related experience
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to think logically and analytically.
Good communication skills
Broad knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within IT.

Responsibilities

Provide daily operational support for incident management, including request intake, prioritization, resolution, and escalation to second-level support as needed.
Collaborate with plant IT application teams and developers to support system planning, implementation, and ongoing enhancements aligned with production requirements.
Plan, coordinate, and execute shop floor production support activities to ensure stable and efficient manufacturing operations.
Monitor, maintain, and optimize system availability and performance for critical shop floor production systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting production, including performing diagnostics on interfaces between cell computers and PLC systems.
Maintain and service shop floor hardware, including test rig and cell computers, to ensure reliability and operational readiness.
Perform routine system maintenance activities, including software updates, patching, and data backup, while supporting on-call and after-hours operations.
Act as a key liaison between IT development, maintenance, and production teams, participating in system commissioning, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
