About The Position

This Summer Internship at TJX offers the opportunity to make an impact and contribute to a specific team within TJX Global IT. Interns will participate in volunteer activities, executive-led speaker series, and networking events in a challenging, collaborative, and inclusive environment. The program is designed for career growth, with the possibility of a future offer upon successful completion. The internship features a flexible hybrid work model. As an IT Analyst Intern, you will learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic global IT organization. Opportunities and problem-solving are not limited by location. Interns will receive hands-on training from managers, trainers, and mentors, and will participate in a group project to contribute to IT strategy and solve an IT business challenge. Potential pathways include Product, Project, and Security.

Requirements

Current juniors
Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in: Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related major
Desire to pursue in an IT Analyst career at TJX
A genuine interest in technology solutions and innovation
Problem solving through thinking analytically and creatively
Excellent communicators who work well in teams
Students with proven leadership abilities and strong work ethic
Those who can think in “Agile Mindset”—flexible, adept at handling change, willingness to learn
Reliable transportation is required as TJX is not easily accessible to public transportation.
Must be able to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.

Responsibilities

Learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic global IT organization.
Receive hands-on training to facilitate learning from your Manager, trainers, and mentor.
Participate in a group project to contribute to IT strategy while solving an IT business challenge.
Collaborate with business partners to understand needs and work with Engineers to implement solutions (Product pathway).
Learn and utilize Agile working practices to support teams, solve problems, and enable success (Project pathway).
Make plans, facilitate meetings, resolve issues, and identify resource needs (Project pathway).
Learn security fundamentals and apply them in specialist teams to keep TJX’s IT capabilities secure (Security pathway).
Investigate alerts, analyze the root cause of incidents, or recommend security improvements (Security pathway).
