Reporting directly to an assigned manager or director, this role is responsible for analyzing, defining, and creating technological solutions for specific hardware and/or software to solve business problems and meet user and organizational needs. This position is Level I of III in the Analyst series. The role involves performing technical analysis of applicable data to produce products and solutions for technology-related business problems, providing technical consulting and support services, and assisting with developing alternative workflow solutions by analyzing and testing new or existing procedures. It also includes performing routine to moderately complex computer systems and server environment analysis to ensure stable systems for all users, analyzing and defining business processes associated with system enhancements, and participating in the design and maintenance of system configuration and setup. The analyst will work as part of a team to procure and implement major systems or upgrades, attend all required meetings and trainings, and perform special duties as assigned. Specialized assignments for the Courts & Justice division include supporting applications used by judicial users and office staff, providing hardware and software assistance for Judicial Court Management, Jail Inmate Management, Jail Medical Services, Clerk Case Management, and Constable Services. This includes creating documentation for IT and end users, interfacing with vendor support, specializing in Prosecutor business processes, administration, and CJIS reporting requirements, acting as Project Manager for new system implementations, preparing and performing training for Justice applications, performing Server Administration for all Justice application servers and multiple environments, performing SQL database management, developing and supporting SQL scripts for data analytics and extracts, supporting complex integration points, and reviewing/supporting issues reported through ServiceNow. The role is responsible for configuring, supporting, testing, and maintaining all Justice Applications.
