About The Position

Are you passionate about building reliable and secure IT infrastructure? As an IT Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing, operating, and supporting core datacenter platforms that power SEL’s services. Your day-to-day work will support physical and virtual infrastructure such as hypervisors, servers, storage, backup systems, and power, with a focus on availability, performance, and resilience. If you enjoy hands-on infrastructure work, value stability and security, and take pride in operational excellence, this role this role could be the perfect fit for you. Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience in an IT environment
  • 2+ years of related experience in a technical environment
  • Knowledge of IT methods, practices, procedures, and policies
  • A desire for life-long learning to maintain a comprehensive understanding of evolving technologies
  • Experience using programming languages and script writing
  • Experience teaching and mentoring IT interns and associates
  • Embraces dynamic, fast-paced environments; adapts well to rapid change
  • The ability to participate in after hours on call rotation
  • The ability to practice absolute confidentiality and unquestionable ethics
  • Excellent customer service commitment
  • Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
  • The ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • US Citizenship is Required

  • Ability to meet Motor Vehicle Report Qualification Standards of SEL

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, secure, and support datacenter infrastructure.
  • Administer hypervisors and VMs to ensure availability, performance, and scalability.
  • Maintain physical server infrastructure, including racking, cabling, firmware, and hardware lifecycle.
  • Operate and maintain SAN and NAS storage platforms.
  • Administer backup systems; verify backup integrity and recovery readiness.
  • Monitor and support datacenter power, UPS, cooling, and environmental systems.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to infrastructure reliability, security, and resilience.
  • Perform capacity and lifecycle planning for compute, storage, power, and cooling resources.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) to standardize and automate infrastructure deployment and management.
