About The Position

The Technical Service IT Administrator will support both local and remote users while helping maintain the systems and infrastructure that keep operations running smoothly. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new technologies, and working in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent hands-on experience
• 0–2 years in IT support or technical operations
• Exposure to Windows and Linux environments
• Basic hardware and networking troubleshooting experience
• Troubleshooting Windows systems, Linux services, and common applications
• Understanding networking fundamentals such as IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (Proxmox preferred) and remote support tools
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Google IT Support Certificate
• Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
• Experience with backups, patching, or server environments
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred, as occasional travel between locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Providing deskside and remote support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Supporting desktops, laptops, peripherals, and production environment devices
• Assisting with Linux systems, networking, virtualization, and routine system maintenance
• Performing updates, patching, and basic security checks
• Managing user accounts, permissions, and technical documentation
• Assisting with deployment of new equipment and collaborating with vendors as needed
• Escalating complex issues with clear troubleshooting details
