About The Position

JBS is seeking a salaried non-exempt IT Team Member! Position starts at $26.00 per hour. Resume required for this position. Candidates will not be considered without a resume. This role involves supporting and managing all computer/network components including servers, switches, cabling and desktop systems at assigned locations. It also includes programming Cisco Switches for Local Area Network, documenting Local Area Network at assigned location(s), and documenting and maintaining “Standard Operating Procedures” for site specific technologies in use at the facility. A fundamental understanding of VLANS is required. The IT Administrator will work with end users and propose new hardware and software solutions to support the business, test all hardware and software modifications before they are introduced into production, and provide hardware and software diagnostics for network, hardware and software issues. Additionally, the role involves managing technology projects in compliance with IT standards, providing hardware and network support for “Production Floor” computer systems, and supporting all printer functions at assigned locations. Related tasks as required.

Requirements

Experienced and knowledge of high-speed manufacturing /packaging equipment to include hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders, case formers, labeling equipment, fillers, and conveyors.
Knowledge of welding (S/S, Mig, Tig)
110v control
Fundamental understanding of VLANS
Climbing including ladders, lifting, working with a variety of hand and power tools, shop machines and tools.
Ammonia/Refrigeration Certification Required
Previous maintenance experience with (Preferred) 480 Volts Control Circuitry PLC Electrical Multi Meter IT/Data Maintenance/PC Maintenance

Responsibilities

Perform building maintenance duties as assigned by supervisor
Preventative maintenance and repairs on the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Trouble shoot machinery quickly and effectively
Preventative maintenance and repairs to Rendering equipment such as conveyors, gearboxes, augers, and pumps
Complete all tasks in the safest and most efficient manner
Day to day maintenance and repair to equipment.
Perform Labeling and Tagging of systems and/or checks for verifications
Troubleshoot and repair high speed food processing and packaging equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems on production equipment
Support the plant equipment, and maintaining a safe plant meeting all federal, state and local environment requirements
Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
