About The Position

V2X is seeking an experienced Information Systems Technologist to serve as the principal Site Infrastructure Lead for the regional W-TRS Mission Support System (MSS) environment. The role provides technical leadership, operational continuity, fiscal oversight, workforce development, and infrastructure synchronization across mission-critical sites. The successful candidate is the primary authority for site MSS operations, ensuring infrastructure investments, technical solutions, training systems, and identity-access processes support contractual requirements and continuous mission readiness. The position works closely with program leadership, regional site leads, business-development stakeholders, vendors, and end users. The Site Infrastructure Lead oversees regional technical onboarding and operating standards, infrastructure services and assets, service performance, contractual compliance, and the Learning Management System. The role also manages secure-token and multi-factor authentication processes and leads an automated QR-based enrollment process for Microsoft Intune mobile device management. The position requires an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship for clearance eligibility.

  • Bachelor’s degree in the IT field or a minimum of 2 years of experience supporting enterprise information systems, site infrastructure, IT operations, or mission-support environments.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed technical teams or coordinating operations across multiple sites.
  • Strong understanding of IT service delivery, lifecycle asset management, infrastructure sustainment, and service-level agreement management.
  • Ability to evaluate technical requirements, resource estimates, operational risks, and cost assumptions for contract bids or new-business opportunities.
  • Experience administering or overseeing a Learning Management System and maintaining compliance-related training records.
  • Working knowledge of identity and access management, multi-factor authentication, hardware or safe-token provisioning, and access-control practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or a comparable mobile device management platform.
  • Ability to design automated, repeatable workflows that replace inefficient manual processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to brief program managers, deputy program managers, executives, and other senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in restricted environments and manage multiple mission-critical priorities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all customer-required credentials, certifications, and security clearances.
  • Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate end-to-end training and technical onboarding for Site Infrastructure users and establish consistent operational standards across the regional W-TRS contract.
  • Provide program leadership with technical and logistical information needed to establish and maintain executive-level operating protocols.
  • Serve as the principal knowledge custodian for W-TRS MSS infrastructure operations.
  • Maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and continuity resources to preserve institutional knowledge and reduce single-person dependency.
  • Mentor site personnel and technical leads and establish responsibilities, escalation paths, and delegation models.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of site internet services, devices, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Brief the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager regularly on regional performance, risks, system status, and IT decisions required.
  • Track contractual performance and implement corrective actions to sustain a high rate of contractual fulfillment.
  • Attend daily synchronization processes for technical leads throughout the regional area.
  • Use asynchronous transcripts, shared operational dashboards, and secure digital collaboration rooms to support continuous awareness and 24/7 mission readiness.
  • Monitor service performance and coordinate resources to meet applicable service-level agreements without degrading mission capability or creating unnecessary overhead.
  • Develop a proactive infrastructure-hardening model to identify and resolve potential failures before they affect stakeholders.
  • Translate enterprise and site-level changes into localized technical solutions, implementation plans, and risk-mitigation actions.
  • Analyze operational trends, recurring incidents, infrastructure capacity, and emerging requirements to improve service resilience.
  • Assume operational ownership and oversight of the Learning Management System, transitioning administration from local leadership as required.
  • Process high-volume training activity and reconcile certificates with individual user profiles.
  • Maintain accurate LMS records and support compliance with contractual training requirements.
  • Provision and maintain accountability for safe tokens for personnel assigned to restrictive or controlled-access areas.
  • Serve as the primary gatekeeper for multi-factor authentication where standard mobile devices are prohibited.
  • Maintain secure records for token issuance, activation, replacement, revocation, and return.
  • Ensure identity and access processes comply with applicable contract, customer, and cybersecurity requirements.

  • Monitor enrollment performance, identify exceptions, and improve the end-user experience without compromising security.
