About The Position

BrokerLink is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Acquisitions Analyst to join their team. This role is responsible for coordinating and supporting IT activities throughout the full acquisition lifecycle, including due diligence, discovery, integration, go-live support, and post-close remediation. The IT Acquisitions Analyst will act as a central point of coordination between internal IT teams, project managers, vendors, and acquired brokerages. The goal is to ensure technology environments are assessed, risks are identified, integration activities align with BrokerLink standards, and transition outcomes are delivered securely, consistently, and with strong documentation.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience working in an IT environment.
  • Strong understanding of core IT infrastructure concepts.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to balance workload and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to speak about technical issues in a non-technical environment.
  • Collaborative with various teams that are working towards a common goal.
  • Experience with tracking Assets and Asset Management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead IT due diligence and technology discovery activities for acquired brokerages.
  • Identify IT risks, gaps, dependencies, and integration requirements within the acquisition environment.
  • Serve as the primary IT contact during an acquisition, partnering with internal IT teams, project managers, external vendors, and the acquired broker.
  • Coordinate access to existing broker systems for internal teams.
  • Support IT integration planning and execution.
  • Maintain up to date documentation that is aligned with BrokerLink standards.
  • Coordinate end-user readiness activities.
  • Support network cutover coordination by aligning internal teams and external vendors.
  • Maintain accurate hardware and technology inventory.
  • Support remediation of identified risks and ensure adherence to BrokerLink IT security standards.
