About The Position

We are seeking motivated and ambitious individuals to join our growing team as an IT Account Executive. The core focus of this role will be growing revenue in IT services like Managed Network, Compliance, Security Services, VoIP, Projects, Contracted Services, and Computer Hardware. The IT Account Executive will report to the Vice President of Sales and support customers across all regions, new and emerging. The role has no direct reports. Ford Office Technologies, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Top Workplace and Pittsburgh Business Times Best Place to Work, is the area’s largest independent full-line authorized provider of the industry’s top four manufacturers for copier, printer, and multi-function product (MFP) technology – Canon, Konica Minolta, Kyocera and Lanier (Ricoh). Our family owned and operated business, headquartered in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, is continually evolving and growing to meet the ever-expanding needs of our customers. From data management to IT services, our main goal is to ensure that our customers’ businesses run smoothly and efficiently with an established company that they can trust. We currently support clients in Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, and Ohio. Our growth also incorporates expanding our reach, with offices in Pittsburgh, Hermitage, Erie, Monroeville and most recently our Niles, OH location.

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales.
  • Experience selling IT services is required.
  • Ability to generate and source new prospects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and create strategic plans.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Creating activities for customer appointments and closed sales.
  • Maintaining full responsibility for the customer relationship, including complaint coordination and receivables.
  • Handling quotes, proposals, walk-throughs, order presentation, delivery, and post-order relationship management.
  • Maintaining the internal customer relationship using a CRM tool.
  • Acting as a consultant to other FOT Sales Team members and collaborating with other departments.
