ISO 9001 Auditor at Des Moines Iowa 1099 Contractor JOB IN Monticello
About The Position
This role involves performing audits at client supplier manufacturing sites using Pro QC checklists. The auditor will identify risks and potential issues through process audits, classify findings against ISO 9001 requirements, and communicate findings to the audit team, issuing a report by the due date. This is a 1099 contract role with a current project duration of 2 man-days, though project duration may vary based on client needs. The current project is a regular day shift, but contractor project schedules may vary depending on site availability. Travel to Monticello, Iowa and nearby areas is required.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience as a ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- Require a manufacturing and operations backgrounds: Manufacturing (automotive, aerospace, electronics, metal fabrication, plastics, etc.)
- Engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, chemical)
- Quality assurance and quality control
- Operations and production management
- Supply chain and logistics
- Construction and infrastructure
- Food processing and packaging
- Healthcare and medical devices
- Energy and utilities
Responsibilities
- Performing the audit at the manufacturing sites of our clients' suppliers per Pro QC checklists.
- Using the process audit to identify relevant risks and point out potential issues.
- Looking at audit findings and classifying them against the ISO 9001 requirements.
- Communicate findings with the audit team and issue audit report within due day.
