About The Position

This position is part of the Information Systems and Technology team responsible for bank-wide information systems implementation, support, and monitoring with a focus on Tier 2 support, networking and hardware/software management. Evaluates, recommends, manages, and completes new and ongoing projects for improved efficiency to technology hardware, software, and processes. Performs duties independently under general supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Tier 2 support for all IT related issues.
  • Act as the IS&T technical liaison to bank staff.
  • Create communication to bank employees for IS&T projects, tasks, or events.
  • Evaluate, recommend, plan, procure, configure, implement, manage, and maintain bank IT systems, structure, hardware, and software.
  • Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot employee access to various IT systems.
  • Evaluate bank IT systems and network structure and make recommendations for improved efficiency.
  • Manage and complete a variety of new and ongoing projects within deadlines.
  • Monitor and resolve tickets and other IT related issues.
  • Work in conjunction with Managed Services Provider to maintain computer and application systems.
  • Answer questions and train users about computer and software policies, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Assist with overall software efficiencies, problem resolution and bank-wide training to implement software changes.
  • Manage and maintain IT hardware and software inventory.
  • Create and maintain procedure manuals, forms, and documents.
  • Coordinate and implement Bank and Core system software updates/releases and problem resolution.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly reviews of IT documentation and policies.
  • Assists with various bank and/or departmental projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Assist with maintaining vendor agreements.
  • Assist with IT audits.
  • Direct Support Specialist I to assist with Tier 2 problem resolution as necessary.
  • Assist with interviewing/hiring candidates for IS Support Team.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
