About The Position

Firman Irrigation and Tree Service is seeking an Irrigation and Lighting Foreman / Salesman. This role involves leading field crews, meeting with clients to assess needs and provide estimates, designing, installing, and servicing irrigation, landscape lighting, and Christmas lighting systems. The position also includes diagnosing and resolving system issues, ensuring job site safety and quality, and handling service calls and maintenance from start to finish to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
• Advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to read, interpret, and design irrigation as-built drawings
• Proficiency with irrigation tools, equipment, system components, and installation techniques (including trenching, pipe work, pumps, valves, and diagnostics)
• Basic computer proficiency (CAD, work order systems, and email)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to get Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC) credential
• Ability to operate a lift
• At least two years of irrigation experience required
• Eligibility under our commercial auto insurance policy (severe, recent, or frequent driving violations may affect qualification)

Nice To Haves

• A Class A CDL is required to reach the top end of the pay scale
