About The Position

GMF Steel Group's Ironworker Apprenticeship Program is designed for recent high school graduates looking to start a career in the Construction Industry. This program offers paid on-the-job training, free NCCER accredited classes once a week, and a 40-hour work week in the field. The program emphasizes learning the latest technology and best practices in structural steel fabrication and erection, utilizing BIM technology. GMF Steel Group is a growing company in the Southeastern US, serving various sectors including amusement parks, stadiums, and healthcare facilities.

Requirements

  • Recently graduated High School.
  • Must be able to work in high places and have a good sense of balance.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50+ lbs. of equipment.
  • Be willing to travel as required by the employer.
  • Must be 18 years old.
