About The Position

The IRL Community + Events Coordinator at Not Your Mother’s supports the execution of the brand’s community and experiential marketing programs, helping bring memorable consumer experiences to life. Reporting to the Senior Manager, IRL Community + Events, this role plays a critical part in coordinating event logistics, supporting ambassador programs, managing vendor communications, and ensuring flawless execution across brand activations. This person is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about building authentic connections between the brand and its community. They thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy managing multiple projects simultaneously, and have a strong interest in beauty, culture, and experiential marketing. Requirements

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working evenings and weekends for events as needed.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for activations and events.
  • Passion for beauty, culture, consumer brands, and community building.
  • 1–3 years of experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, community management, public relations, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Event Management, or a related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing community-building initiatives across key consumer audiences and touchpoints.
  • Support campus ambassador and college-focused programming, including recruitment, communication, and program coordination.
  • Help manage relationships with community members, ambassadors, influencers, and brand advocates.
  • Coordinate product shipments, event invitations, and community outreach efforts.
  • Monitor community engagement and gather insights to help identify opportunities for future activations and experiences.
  • Maintain community databases, contact lists, and event records.
  • Support planning and execution of brand activations including: College pop-ups, Community events, Influencer experiences, Product launch events, Retail partner activations.
  • Assist with event logistics including venue research, vendor coordination, staffing, travel arrangements, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Track event timelines, project plans, and production schedules to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
  • Coordinate event materials, branded merchandise, signage, and experiential assets.
  • Provide onsite event support including setup, execution, guest management, and breakdown.
  • Assist in developing event recaps including attendance tracking, photo collection, and post-event metrics.
  • Partner closely with Social, Influencer, PR, Creative, and Brand Marketing teams to support campaign execution.
  • Support the Senior Manager in coordinating stakeholder communications and project updates.
