About The Position

Responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare in Imaging Services and assist in the performance of other duties. Provides quality patient care in a manner consistent with a safe and professional environment with primarily high-risk and critically ill patients of all ages. Performs patient care duties associated with invasive procedures of all disease processes, and maintains procedural statistical documentation on all cases. A competent RT may place PICC lines under the physician’s direction and supervision. This position functions in a highly specialized and unique area and must be available to participate in the on-call rotation covering weekends, holidays and various weekdays. Employee promotes service excellence.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.
• Successful completion of a PICC line placement course (for those placing PICC lines).
• One (1) year experience as a Radiology Technologist or Interventional experience.
• Current ARRT registration.
• Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS/ARC ALS or obtained within 9 months of hire.
• Competent in the utilization of all standard radiographic equipment and supplies.
• Ability to utilize suction machine, O2 tanks, IVACS, blood pressure cuffs.
• Knowledge of cart with code supplies.
