About The Position
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab/IR Technologist for a Per Diem-Days position in Victorville, Ca. This role involves assisting physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular lab, ensuring room preparedness, monitoring supplies, and participating in departmental activities. The position is for a 12-week assignment with a partner healthcare facility focused on providing exceptional, compassionate care. Requirements
- ARRT-R and licenses as required by State.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- ACLS certificate required within 30 days of hire.
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab and/or Interventional Radiology.
- Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
- Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
- Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies.
- Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff.
- Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
