About The Position

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has proudly served residents across Southeast Michigan since 1953. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in Cardiovascular technology/basic science, Paramedic License, Exercise Physiologist, training and/or education Required.
  • Completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT) for Interventional Radiology Required.
  • 5 years of relevant experience as an Interventional Radiologist Technologist Required.
  • Basic Computer skills, math skills, exceptional communication skills, and outstanding customer service skills Required.
  • CRT-Radiologist Technologist Registration-ARRT American Registry of Radiological Technologist CHE IR Required Upon Hire.
  • CRT-Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) ARRT-American Registry of Radiological Technologist CHS preferred/CHE IR Required Upon Hire Required.
  • CRT-Cardio Vascular Imaging (CI) ARRT-American Registry of Radiological Technologist CHS preferred/CHE IR Required Upon Hire Required.
  • CRT-Radiological Technologist Registration-ARRT American Registry of Radiological Technologist CHE, Cardiology Only Upon Hire Required.
  • CRT-Reg Card Inter Specialist (RCIS)-CCI Int’l-Cardiovascular Credentialing International CHE, Cardiology Only Upon Hire Required.
  • CRT-Reg Card Elect Specialist (RCES)-CCI Int’l-Cardiovascular Credentialing International CHE, Cardiology only Upon Hire Required.
  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)-AHA-American Heart Association Upon Hired Required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and Vascular procedures.
  • Act as a clinical expert and leader within the department, possessing adequate training and knowledge of cardiac, vascular, neurologic, and EP procedures.
  • Maintain and ensure the physician has required equipment.
  • Perform quality imaging duties.
  • Start IVs.
  • Prep patients.
  • Administer/monitor conscious sedation.
  • Monitor hemodynamics.
  • Operate equipment.
  • Document procedures.
  • Recover patients.
  • Perform groin management.
  • Provide patient/family education.
