About The Position

ilearn wellness group is hiring a part-time clinician for its adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Newton, Massachusetts. The clinician will join a multidisciplinary team providing structured mental health care to adolescents. The role involves conducting intake assessments, determining appropriate levels of care, leading clinical groups, and coordinating patient treatment and continuity of care. The position is scheduled for 20 hours per week, primarily on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work on Monday.

Requirements

Valid Massachusetts license as an LMHC, LICSW, LCSW, or MHC.
Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
Three years of experience in a mental health setting.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with adolescent populations.
Knowledge of the IOP setting and experience with intake assessments.
Experience using evidence-based practices, including CBT and DBT.
Ability to adapt to IOP patient needs, work confidently in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with a team, and lead groups of up to 12 adolescents.

Responsibilities

Conduct clinical intake assessments and assess the appropriate level of care for new patients.
Lead three hours of clinical groups weekly, including CBT Skills, DBT Skills, psychoeducation, social skills, and safety planning.
Provide case management for IOP patients, including collaborating with other providers, making referrals, and developing treatment plans.
Obtain insurance authorization for treatment services.
Conduct individual and family meetings as appropriate during treatment.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and mental health technicians, and coordinate with PHP and outpatient staff to support continuity of care.
Complete clinical documentation in an electronic health record in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, and other governing organizations.
