Bureau Veritas Canada is seeking an Invoice Specialist, Uploads for a 1-year contract position. The Invoice Specialist will manage invoice uploads, track invoices through the payment process, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with the invoicing team. Requirements

• College Diploma.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; Good command of English.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and environmental laboratory project management.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to follow process and customer requirements with the capacity to problem solve and identify gaps or outliers in data.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently as well as engage others when required.
• Computer skills, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and LIMS.
• Experience using Invoicing module in LIMS and creating an invoice.

Responsibilities

• Manage invoice uploads for a defined list of customers and platforms, including running queries and monitoring invoices for coding and approvals.
• Track and monitor invoices through various upload platforms from approval to payment.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and escalate rejections as needed.
• Assist AR and Cash Application team with remittance details and inquiries.
• Collaborate with the invoice upload team to onboard new platforms and clients, and provide backup coverage.
• Assist and support the Centralized Invoicing Team as required.
• Represent Bureau Veritas in a professional manner.
• Other duties, as required.
