About The Position

The Investor Relations Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all post-closing functions to ensure the timely processing of final investor purchases of loan files. This role involves adhering to investor guidelines, preparing and sending final documents, managing reports, resolving deficiencies, and assisting with quality control and audits.

Requirements

  • One year to three years of similar or related experience.
  • A two-year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
  • Work involves significant personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.
  • Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
  • Skill and ability to use and operate a computer keyboard, calculator, fax machine, copier and telephone.
  • Skill and ability to read and understand financial statements, contracts, applications, computer printouts, manuals and other related materials.
  • Must have the skill and ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle controls; and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, or kneel.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Follow investor guidelines to ship closed loans to investors by the rate lock/delivery expiration date.
  • Prepare post-closing documents.
  • Send final documents to investors and maintain reports to ensure all documents are delivered within the allotted time.
  • Work all deficiency notices on delivered files to ensure purchase of the loan by the investor.
  • Assist with quarterly quality control and internal/external auditors.
  • Maintain Mortgage Electronic Registration System registrations of new loans and servicing transfers.
  • Work quality control deficiency reviews of loans that have already been purchased by the investor.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
