This person serves as an intern in the Investment Services department. The intern will initiate outbound calls to clients to schedule appointments for client reviews, confirm appointments, and respond and communicate with clients regarding issues. They will handle a limited scope of client service and client account administration, prepare department reporting as needed, and resolve issues by coordinating activities and deadlines, preparing reports, and identifying solutions. The role involves processing correspondence, filing, and performing other specific duties as needed. The intern will function effectively as a team player with all facets of the organization and outside partners, utilize internal technology to maximum advantage, and ensure all Southside policies and procedures are followed. Maintaining confidentiality of all sensitive Bank information and fostering a positive and caring atmosphere for customers and employees consistent with Southside Bank’s mission, CORE Values, and Blue Book culture guide are essential. The intern will provide enthusiastic, professional, and courteous service, participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals, and understand and abide by established policies and procedures. Compliance with audit policies and procedures, as well as all applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and related anti-money laundering laws, is required.
