About The Position
Aries Global seeks an Investment Intern to help identify and assess software investment opportunities. The role supports thesis-driven sourcing through trend analysis, market discovery, and mapping software segments. It also involves analytical work such as financial modeling, valuation, market research, competitor benchmarking, and market intelligence to inform investment decisions. Aries Global aims to build enduring, AI-native software platforms by partnering with software founders and supporting their companies with an AI-native operating system, a centralized go-to-market engine, and execution capabilities. Requirements
- Strong analytical foundations developed through experience in start-ups, investment banking, private equity or venture capital, strategy, or management consulting.
- Ability to think rigorously, solve problems in a structured way, and synthesize information rapidly.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, forming clear mental models quickly, taking ownership, and learning unfamiliar software categories.
- Ability to work autonomously with intensity and strong internal drive.
- Ability to communicate in a structured, concise, and compelling manner, verbally and in writing.
- Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams without sacrificing quality or momentum.

- Uncover high-potential software opportunities across core investment themes through trend analysis and market discovery.
- Map and assess key software segments to support thesis-driven sourcing.

- Perform in-depth market intelligence research to strengthen investment conviction.
