About The Position

As an Investment Group/Investment Related HR Manager, you will partner closely with the Investment Group/Investment Related Senior Managers to support Capital Group's global investors. You will be an integral part of the investment unit coordination work, overseeing key processes and helping ensure the smooth and effective operation of the investment units. You will represent the IG/IR team on various technology workstreams and help manage the IG/IR technology roadmap. Working closely with HR specialist groups, you will play a critical role in connecting the Investment Group/Investment Related team with the broader HR function. You will also lead by example, fostering collaboration and contributing to the continued growth and development of the Investment Group/Investment Related HR team.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant HR experience supporting leadership teams within complex organizations.
  • Experience partnering with and influencing multiple senior leaders and leadership teams.
  • Experience building credibility across diverse stakeholders through strong consultative and relationship-management skills.
  • Experience leading by example in different managerial structures, with reviewers rotating regularly and reporting relationships that are complex player-coach (vs traditional direct report relationships).
  • Pride in building meaningful relationships and establishing trust.
  • Generous collaborator with experience working across highly matrixed environments to plan, execute and communicate measurable impacts.
  • Skilled communicator.

  • Facilitated a variety of successful meetings ranging in size, with diverse audiences.

  • Experience leading projects and familiarity with project life cycles.
  • Resilience in enlisting the help of others, sifting through large data sets, re-prioritizing, strategizing, tailoring communication, embracing conflict, and identifying critical issues.
