Investment Banking Transportation Analyst - New York
About The Position
Morgan Stanley is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to join its Transportation Group in the New York office. The analyst will work with regional and international clients on complex transactions and strategic advisory assignments, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, shareholder relations, recapitalizations, demergers, leveraged buyouts, defenses against unsolicited takeover attempts, and public and private capital markets transactions. The role involves close collaboration with professionals across the firm to deliver high-quality client advice and offers the opportunity to contribute as part of a team with senior professionals.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in investment banking or capital markets.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Series licensing or willingness to obtain it.
- High motivation, focus on work quality, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Analytical, quantitative, adaptive, self-starting, leadership, teamwork, multitasking, and results-oriented abilities.
- Interest in developing a career in investment banking.
