About The Position

Piper Sandler is seeking undergraduate students for its 2027 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Internship Program within the Restructuring Investment Banking team in New York, NY. This 10-week program offers interns the opportunity to learn financial modeling, basic analysis of companies and industries, and gain an understanding of capital markets dynamics. The program includes a week of formal training near Piper Sandler’s Minneapolis, MN headquarters and networking events. This internship serves as a direct pipeline to full-time Analyst positions for the following year. Requirements

  • Anticipated graduation date from an undergraduate institution of December 2027 or May/June 2028
  • Seeking a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another business-related field
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Leadership and teamwork skills
  • Willingness and desire to learn
  • Must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
  • F-1 (student) visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis are not eligible.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior finance and accounting courses or self-study is beneficial.
