About The Position

Houlihan Lokey is hiring an Analyst for its Corporate Finance Consumer group in Los Angeles. The Analyst will support corporate finance engagements, principally involving mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, fairness opinions, and strategic advisory assignments. The role includes analyzing company and industry financial information, performing company valuations, preparing transaction and marketing materials, and assisting with engagement marketing and planning on a limited basis.

Requirements

• Prior investment banking internship experience.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Undergraduate coursework in accounting and finance.

• Fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and explain financial information for a company and related companies within its industry.
• Perform company valuations using traditional valuation methodologies.
• Prepare confidential offering memorandums, management presentations, buyers lists, marketing pitches, and other presentations.
• Assist with the marketing and planning of engagements on a limited basis.
• Support corporate finance engagements, including M&A, capital raising, fairness opinions, and strategic advisory assignments.
