About The Position
The Investment Banking ECM Associate will be a key member of Leerink Partners’ healthcare-focused investment banking practice, supporting the Equity Capital Markets team in executing equity and equity-linked financings. Transactions include initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, structured deals, and convertible debt transactions. The Associate will execute ECM transactions, interact directly with current and prospective clients, and work with the broader investment banking team on client management, business origination, and deal execution.
Requirements
- Three or more years of relevant investment banking experience.
- BS or BA with an exemplary academic record.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, meritocratic, team-oriented work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Execute transactions as an Associate on the ECM team.
- Interact directly with current and prospective clients.
- Work closely with the broader investment banking team to coordinate existing client management, new business origination, and deal execution.
