We are currently looking for an Investment Banking Associate to join our Specialty Finance Investment Banking team within the Financial Services group in our Charlotte, NC office. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
1+ years of investment banking experience at the associate level or closely related experience
Prior experience involving financial analysis and M&A transaction execution
Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting and financial modeling
Excellent business writing skills, including the ability to write compelling selling memorandums and presentations
Ability to build relationships and establish trust with internal and external stakeholders
Highly motivated, team player with an ability to learn in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Provide advisory and financing services related to mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, private placements, restructuring and corporate & venture services.
Partner with corporate clients and financial sponsors.
Conduct financial analysis and M&A transaction execution.
Develop compelling selling memorandums and presentations.
Build relationships and establish trust with internal and external stakeholders.
