About The Position

Nomura is a global financial services group with an integrated network, connecting markets East & West. The Technology Investment Banking team works on deal execution, client coverage, and new business development. This role requires deep technology sector expertise combined with investment banking skills such as financial analysis, team building, and process management. As an Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of deal execution and client interaction.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of total investment banking experience.
Demonstrated track record within the Technology sector is a requirement for this role; specific Software experience is strongly preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of the corporate banking business and its related products, pertinent regulations and lending and credit approval processes.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
SIE, Series 63 and 79.

Nice To Haves

MBA or other relevant graduate degree desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

Execution and client coverage including valuation, financial analysis, strategic analysis, due diligence, deal financing, and process management.
Business and industry research and analysis.
Preparation of transaction marketing materials and high-quality client deliverables.
Development, training, and mentoring of junior bankers assigned to projects.
