About The Position
We are seeking a professional to join our Industrials team within the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs. This role involves contributing to the success of the business by leveraging your skills and ideas. The Investment Banking Division tackles complex financial challenges and transactions, advising clients on mergers, financial solutions for acquisitions, and initial public offerings. We work with a diverse range of clients including corporations, pension funds, financial sponsors, and governments, and are a team of analytical thinkers passionate about innovative ideas. The Industrials sector encompasses aerospace and defense, automotive, building and construction, business services, capital goods, diversified industrials, transportation and infrastructure, and paper, forest products and packaging.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' investment banking or equivalent experience
- History of outstanding academic and professional achievement
- Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members in multiple groups and regions

Responsibilities
- Developing and strengthening client relationships.

- Coordinating teams of tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers for various transactions.
- Leading due diligence processes.
- Actively participating in the negotiations of legal documentation.
- Maintaining client communication.
- Helping Goldman Sachs structure client transactions.
