About The Position
KippsDeSanto provides investment banking services, primarily mergers and acquisitions, private financing, and strategic advisory, to middle-market aerospace, defense, government services, and enterprise technology companies. Analysts support the full transaction process, including preparing clients for the market, engaging with potential buyers, facilitating due diligence, and closing deals. The role provides opportunities to develop financial and technical expertise and take on responsibility in transaction execution, client management, and new business development. The role requires access to Controlled Unclassified Information. Candidates must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable export control regulations. The employer will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or military experience.
- At least 1 year of investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory experience.
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable export control regulations.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business management, or economics.
- FINRA Licenses: Series 63, Series 79, and SIE.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and explain historical and projected financial information.
- Assist in preparing financial models and business valuations.
- Conduct industry and company-specific due diligence.
- Create client marketing presentations, memoranda, and deliverables.
- Attend client meetings.
- Draft and collaborate on pitch presentations and associated materials.
- Develop an understanding of trends affecting the aerospace, defense, and government technology industries.
- Coordinate, research, and create industry and market research publications.
- Assist in developing and cultivating relationships with clients, prospects, and professional advisors.
