About The Position

Truist Securities is seeking candidates for its Investment Banking Analyst Program. This program is open exclusively to 2026 Truist interns. The program begins with an intensive seven-week classroom instruction period covering capital markets, products and services, accounting, corporate finance, systems, and financial modeling. Following classroom training, Analysts will join a product group or industry coverage group, playing a key role in supporting senior investment banking professionals. Responsibilities include creating and analyzing financial models, developing client presentations, conducting industry research, and serving as a core member of merger and acquisition and capital raising transaction teams. Analysts will provide credit underwriting support, draft information memoranda, develop management and investor presentations, and facilitate the entire deal process. Potential placements include Consumer & Retail, Energy, Financial Institutions, Healthcare (incl. Life Sciences), Industrials & Services, Financial Sponsors, and Technology, Media and Telecom groups. The Investment Banking Analyst position is typically a two-year role, with a possibility of extension for an additional year.

Requirements

  • Completed BA/BS degree with a scheduled graduation of December 2026 or May/June 2027
  • Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Must be a 2026 Truist intern
