The Investment Associate is responsible for working collaboratively with colleagues on the consulting and manager research teams to collect and synthesize data, support analytical work and gather information required for client deliverables.

Requirements

  • Open to December 2026 and Spring 2027 graduates
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field

Responsibilities

  • Complete quarterly and monthly investment performance reporting in support of the client team.
  • Provide day-to-day client support and special projects assigned by the client team.
  • Build investment manager searches in support of the research team, working with asset class leads.
  • Collect and analyze data for investment manager searches.
  • Attend investment manager meetings.
  • Obtain monthly and quarterly client statements from investment managers and custodians.
  • Enter market values and cash flows from statements into the investment software platform.
  • Problem solve discrepancies in performance calculations and reconcile performance returns across sources.
  • Analyze market trends in performance of all asset classes in clients’ portfolios (equities, fixed income, real estate, hedge funds, private equity).
  • Respond to client, manager, and custodian inquiries.
  • Explain performance results to the client team when requested.
  • Resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in team and firm projects, which may include creating charts/graphs for client deliverables and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with lead asset class analyst on client directed manager searches.
  • Assist research team in generating reports and collecting data from eVestment, Bloomberg, Morningstar, and FactSet.
  • Organize weekly agendas for investment committee meetings, take and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Support asset class leaders with investment manager research by collecting/analyzing data, attending investment manager meetings, and helping create client-ready deliverables, education materials, and manager reports/analysis.
