About The Position

We are an early-to-late-stage venture capital firm with more than $1B in assets under management, backing the next generation of high-growth and generational technology companies. The firm invests across AI applications and infrastructure, robotics, energy, space technology, life sciences, and other emerging technology categories. Its portfolio includes some of the most recognized technology companies across AI, fintech, enterprise software, marketplaces, and frontier technology. With a lean team of approximately 20 employees, the firm operates with an entrepreneurial, highly networked approach to investing. The team works closely with founders, institutional investors, Fortune 500 executives, and other influential operators to help portfolio companies grow. This is an opportunity to work directly with the investment team across sourcing, investment opportunities, portfolio support, founder relationships, and high-value strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • 1–4 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in venture capital, investment banking, or a high-growth, well-known startup.
  • Strong academic and professional track record.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in highly competitive, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience working on complex analytical, strategic, or investment-related projects.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, business models, and investment fundamentals.
  • Ability to evaluate companies, markets, founders, and investment opportunities.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguous information and developing a clear point of view.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize large amounts of information into actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high bar for quality.
  • Comfortable interacting directly with founders, executives, customers, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence.
  • Ability to build trust quickly and maintain high-quality relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the founder and investment team across the full investment lifecycle, from Seed through growth-stage investments and later-stage SPVs.
  • Help lead Fortune 500 customer calls and support portfolio companies in closing major enterprise opportunities.
  • Work on large-scale SPV co-investments alongside leading institutional LPs.
  • Develop new founder and investment sourcing strategies and identify high-potential companies and entrepreneurs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with founders and provide high-touch support across the portfolio.
  • Keep the investment team organized and ensure important initiatives and opportunities move forward efficiently.
  • Provide a white-glove, concierge-level experience to a select group of exceptional founders.
  • Take ownership of projects and tasks across investing, portfolio support, research, sourcing, and operations as needed.
  • Operate with a high level of urgency, judgment, and discretion in a fast-moving environment.

Benefits

  • $150,000 – $200,000 base salary.
  • $165,000 – $240,000 OTE.
  • Opportunity to earn meaningful, performance-based economics through carry and participation in investments.
  • Full-time position.
  • On-site in San Francisco or New York.
  • Open to OPT and H-1B visa transfers.
  • New visa sponsorship reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
