About The Position

Cerity Partners Ventures (CPV), founded as Touchdown Ventures in 2014, pioneered Venture Capital-as-a-Service for corporations. The firm works with corporate clients to develop and execute innovation strategies and manages more than 15 corporate venture capital funds. The Associate will join a collaborative team investing in startups relevant to food and agriculture, CPG, and industrial manufacturing leaders. The position offers substantial mentorship and training from experienced venture capitalists and is based in the Los Angeles Century City office.

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree.
• Candidates should bring a growth mindset for a professional services environment.
• Successful colleagues are detail-oriented self-starters with natural curiosity about business innovation.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably 1–3 years of relevant work experience in consulting, financial services, or startup operating roles.

Responsibilities

• Identify startups for investments and commercial partnerships.
• Meet with entrepreneurs and evaluate their business plans and pitches.
• Develop relationships with founders.
• Track and report on other deal flow generated by the team.
• Research industry sectors, trends, and market dynamics.
• Assist with due diligence and in closing transactions.
