About The Position

The Investment Analyst is responsible for helping the Investment Products & Research team manage research and due diligence efforts. The right individual will have excellent analytical capability with an excellent work ethic and some experience or demonstrated capability in the investment industry. This role involves tracking, evaluating, and performing due diligence for investment advisory offerings across Liquid Markets (Equities and Fixed Income), Structured Products, and Alternatives. The analyst will also prepare ad hoc and ongoing investment analysis, prepare investment memos and market updates, manage financial data, and collaborate with various internal teams. Additionally, the role supports financial modeling, scenario analysis, and ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. Involvement in special teamwide projects is also expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in investment analysis, performance reporting/analysis or similar.
  • Demonstrated understanding of investment products and capital markets.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • FINRA Series 7 license preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft’s suite of products; familiarity with data analytics tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Track, evaluate and perform due diligence for investment advisory offerings across Liquid Markets (Equities and Fixed Income), Structured Products, and Alternatives.
  • Prepare ad hoc and ongoing investment analysis to be shared with colleagues and in weekly investment team meetings.
  • Prepare investment memos, investment analysis, and general market update materials in conjunction with the investment team.
  • Collect, validate, and maintain financial data from multiple sources.
  • Work closely with our client solutions, investment product, and performance teams to improve processes.
  • Support our structured product efforts from time to time including working in our SIMON platform.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies in all reporting and analysis.
  • Support financial modeling and scenario analysis for team projects and financial requests from senior management.
  • Be involved with special teamwide projects as needed.
