About The Position

Oakworth Capital Bank is expanding and has an excellent opportunity for someone to join our team in Birmingham, AL! We are looking for a full-time Investment Analyst that will play a vital role in supporting our business goals and overall vision. The Investment Analyst will be responsible in assisting the Wealth team on a wide variety of projects and analysis with components of strategy, data gathering/inquiry, and reporting. This role works closely with Wealth Leadership, Portfolio Managers, Client Advisors, and Client Support across all markets to ensure a coordinated approach to serving our clients.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting or related area of study is required.
Demonstrates a high level of professionalism with confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to manage priorities and workflow with minimal guidance.
Have excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
Acute attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of related experience and/or training is preferred.

Responsibilities

Point of contact for executing trades throughout the organization
Owns the process of rebalancing portfolios
Responsible for analyzing portfolios to ensure suitability
Creation and dissemination of internal investment communications
Assists in the creation of client meeting materials and proposals
Manages the daily oversight for Black Diamond.
Owns and manages internal Investment Committee Meetings, including management of meeting minutes.
Responsible for analyzing individual investments to ensure suitability.
May participate in client meetings occasionally.
Work with Wealth Leadership to foster an atmosphere of continual improvement, encouraging new ideas and implementing best practices.
