About The Position

Hilltop Residential is seeking an Investment Analyst to add to our growing Corporate Office team. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics, or related discipline from an accredited institution preferred
  • Interest in commercial real estate
  • Strong financial modeling skills with great attention to detail
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and Office products; database experience and/or additional programming skills a plus
  • Self-starter, dependable, with excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with other team members, hunger to learn, positive “can-do” attitude
  • Creative problem-solving skills with ability to understand complex concepts
  • Excellent organizational, time management and strategic planning skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Willingness and ability to work with quick timelines

Responsibilities

  • Underwrite and evaluate potential multifamily investment opportunities
  • Review and update existing financial models relating to investment opportunities
  • Perform financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and property valuations
  • Track and maintain current investment portfolio statistics
  • Research and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data
  • Conduct market surveys comparing rents, occupancies, and concession amounts among comparable properties in specific submarkets
  • Support the ongoing efforts of Hilltop’s Fund and Acquisitions teams
  • Assist in drafting and preparing Investment Committee memos
  • Provide market-specific and asset-specific updates for investors
  • Actively manage existing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Platform
  • Assist in the organization and preparation of fundraising materials
  • Prepare and maintain quarterly asset performance reports for existing Hilltop assets
  • Support ad hoc reporting efforts, both internally and externally
