Hilltop Residential is seeking an Investment Analyst to add to our growing Corporate Office team. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics, or related discipline from an accredited institution preferred
Interest in commercial real estate
Strong financial modeling skills with great attention to detail
Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and Office products; database experience and/or additional programming skills a plus
Self-starter, dependable, with excellent organizational and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to work with other team members, hunger to learn, positive “can-do” attitude
Creative problem-solving skills with ability to understand complex concepts
Excellent organizational, time management and strategic planning skills
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Willingness and ability to work with quick timelines

Responsibilities

Underwrite and evaluate potential multifamily investment opportunities
Review and update existing financial models relating to investment opportunities
Perform financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and property valuations
Track and maintain current investment portfolio statistics
Research and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data
Conduct market surveys comparing rents, occupancies, and concession amounts among comparable properties in specific submarkets
Support the ongoing efforts of Hilltop’s Fund and Acquisitions teams
Assist in drafting and preparing Investment Committee memos
Provide market-specific and asset-specific updates for investors
Actively manage existing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Platform
Assist in the organization and preparation of fundraising materials
Prepare and maintain quarterly asset performance reports for existing Hilltop assets
Support ad hoc reporting efforts, both internally and externally
