About The Position

Robinhood Ventures' mission is to build one of the best venture capital platforms in the world and make it accessible to investors everywhere. Through our publicly-traded funds in Robinhood Ventures Fund I and Robinhood Ventures Fund II, we’ve already invested in some of the best private companies in the world like OpenAI, Databricks, Ramp, and more. As an Investment Intern in Robinhood Ventures, you will be a core part of our lean team. You will research, evaluate, and support investments across the Robinhood Ventures platform, with a focus on late-stage investments. This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA office with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a full-time MBA program
• Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or finance at a high-growth company, with fluency in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market research
• Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated interest in emerging technologies and the private companies driving them — you proactively form opinions on key trends and companies
• An existing network in the startup ecosystem, or the drive to build one, that can help Robinhood Ventures identify and connect with promising companies
• Proven ability to work independently in lean, high-output environments, with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

• Late-stage investing or venture capital experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Research markets and sectors that you believe we should be paying attention to, and then identify the key companies in them that Robinhood Ventures needs to meet.
• Be a key part of the deal team for investments we evaluate, owning core diligence workstreams like the financial model, competitive analysis, and helping shape investment theses.
• Work with teams across Product, Operations, Marketing, Legal, and more to help build experiences in the Robinhood app to further differentiate Robinhood Ventures for both retail investors and portfolio companies.
