About The Position

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is looking for a qualified Investigations Supervisor III. The Investigation Supervisor III will provide direct supervision to a team to ensure investigations are conducted with the highest degree of integrity, objectivity and compliance with state and federal laws and Departmental policies.

  • Record/document events and information accurately in order to compose professional, accurate, concise and detailed reports

Responsibilities

  • Directs, instructs, guides, and counsels subordinate staff in carrying out a variety of Administrative Investigations tasks
  • Reviews completed reports of investigation and provides guidance regarding thoroughness, clarity and accuracy
  • Communicates with agency administrators, managers, supervisors, and/or executive staff regarding results of administrative investigations
  • Conducts highly sensitive administrative investigations, regardless of established time frames, which are in the best interest of the agency and/or administrators
  • Reviews Department Orders and training requirements pertaining to the functions of the unit and provides suggestions for updates and improvements
  • Represents the unit with outside agencies and other Departmental functions
  • Completes performance evaluations, approves leave/schedules, work assignments and time cards
  • Drives on State Business
  • Other duties as assigned as related to the position
